Answers to Questions, questions, questions

For the remaining few days for this month ..the month of daily blogging.. I’ve decided for my own mind’s sake and that of my friends who frequently visit, to do a few light posts.

To start with, Rara from rarasaur kindly directed her friends to a post from Suzie81’s blog called Questions, Questions, Questions: Tell Me About You!. So, here I am telling you about me..and her about me too, I guess as she’s asked us to link our answers to the post.

1. Why have you chosen your blog name?

Hmmm…well…I started this blog last year after taking the big leap from having a “normal” job to part timing so as to give me the opportunity to explore some of the things I was interested in doing. Prior to that I had a blog called “My Little Bubble” which is kinda self explanatory. The wise one, my younger sister having read some of my posts from that blog suggested that maybe I should just start a new one, sort of like a new venture on this new path I was going. And I did just that.

The name Heartsongs came to me because in a way I was finally learning to listen to my heart’s songs….

2. When you have an hour of free-time, what do you do?

Hmm..if it was just an hour it would still depend on what I’m in the mood for and what time of the day it was…

However, in order of preference:

  1. Taking a nap!
  2. Watching YouTube videos
  3. Reading a book
  4. Taking a nap
  5. Taking a nap….. 😉

3. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what would it be?

Ah…hmmm….well now…I’d say 25 years old. It’s a perfectly legal age to do all the things one could do when one is of legal age. It’s also a good age to be young but not considered too young, though 29 does seem like another good age. Can you imagine sticking your tongue out at the big 3-0 every year of your life?

Yea…me either.

4. If you could learn to do something, what would it be?

Ooo..I’d want to learn to do magic! The Harry Potter kind and talk to Unicorns (though actually learning to see them first would be a good idea) and to dogs too.

5. What would be the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?

The first thing I would buy if I won the lottery would be…a house, a really nice one, not too big and not too small. It would be the perfect house to turn into a bookshop! The kind of bookshop I’ve envisioned for some years now.

6. What is the thing that makes you absolutely unique?

Me! And I’m sticking to that.

I can burp really loud too…

7. What is your favourite blog?

I can’t decide which is my favourite blog. I love almost all the blogs I follow, each with it’s own flavour. I love my bloggy friends!!

By the time this post goes live, it’ll probably be about the one week Suzie81 plans to leave the questions open with the idea of collating the answers to form some blog posts at her place, BUT if you’d like to answer these questions it would be awesome!

Please do link your answers back to her blog post 🙂

  1. I think 30 would be a good forever age. There was an old radio comedian (Jack Benny) who made a thing about always being 39. I think I would like to learn to fly. That would be fun. And for the lottery, a nice house, and a vacation house somewhere warm where I could spend 3 or 4 months during the winter. And then I could fly my plane there.

    1. Hmmm…is Jack Benny of the radio show same as that old fella Jack Benny who had a TV show? Flying is an awesome thing to learn. Ooo and you could invite all your friends to summer with you too..huh? Ahem…ahem..cough.. 😉

      1. Yep, that’s the same one! I didn’t really think you would have heard of him. He was very successful in radio first, and then TV. Many stars didn’t make the transition. I really like his old radio shows which you can download now.

As many people as would fit could come to my vacation home. That would be my winter vacation home. Maybe when I’m not there in the winter, everyone else could use it the other months.

          1. I experienced a little bit of it Saturday when it snowed! Only a little bit, but it’s only November! Most of our snow comes in January and February. And you are very welcome to take as much of our winter and snow as you would like! Take it all! Please!

            1. We will have to work out some kind of winter weather exchange. You can pump some of your heat to us, and we’ll pump some of our snow and cold to you!
