I think I could hug you!

Glorialana graciously nominated me for a blog award. If I could choose one word for the feeling I get when I read her blog is that she’s a really sweet person. I love the way she starts her posts with “Thank you God!”.

sisterhoodThank you Glorialana for the award!

The “rules” :

  1. Provide a link to and thank the blogger who nominated you for this award.
  2. Answer ten questions.
  3. Nominate 10-12 blogs that you find a joy to read.
  4. Provide links to these nominated blogs and kindly let the recipients know they have been nominated.
  5. Include the award logo within your blog post.

The 10 questions:

  1. Your favourite colour: Blues of different shades. I also love purples and silver!
  2. Your favourite animal: Dogs!! Oh and Wolves too! Dragons!
  3. Your favourite non-alcoholic drink: Coffee
  4. Facebook or Twitter? Facebook. Twitter cramps my ramble-y style.
  5. Your favourite pattern: Hmm..patterns…Mandalas!
  6. Do you prefer getting or giving presents? Both!
  7. Your favourite number: 25 (because that’s my birthdate).
  8. Your favourite day of the week: Saturday because it means that my “weekend” will be starting the next day!
  9. Your favourite flower: Rose
  10. What is your passion? Reading a really good novel. Drawing Mandalas. Listening to music. Looking at beautiful art pieces….

Now, instead of nominating 10 blogs I’m going to do something a little different.

Throughout my years dabbling in the blogging world there have been very few people whom I’ve met that I feel some deeper connection to. It’s hard to explain. It’s this feeling I have within me where I can actually feel my heart expand, I smile when I see their comments gracing my posts, when I comment on their blog posts…there is this feeling within me that if I were to meet them in person I would give them a BIG hug (something I really don’t do much at all. I’m not much of a hugging type..hehe).

Since this award is a sisterhood award I’m going to link the few ladies whom I feel that special connection to. I’m not sure if they feel the same but it doesn’t matter! Hehe.

  1. Thanks my dear Shree! I am going to cry now , ok! I would hug you too if I could!. It is rare to have a connection that just makes sense, even if doesn’t make sense ( that is the paradox) 🙂
Congrats on your award! Love the image too, I fell in love with Josephine Wall almost enough to hug her also.

    much love sister,

    1. Hehe…as long as they are happy tears, Linda 😉 *hugs*
And yes, that paradox makes total sense 🙂
Thank you for the congratulations! and yup Josephine Wall is totally awesome!! 😀
Now at least we know where all these fascinating images around Google are from!!

      1. they are happy tears 🙂 I used Josephine Wall on my Blog story way back when before I knew who the artist is and now I have used several of her works. she is also very cool with people sharing her art on their sites, which is very progressive on her part.

now I gotta see what Mindy is up to 🙂

        love ya Dr. Shree

  2. Hey, I couldn’t comment on the previous post for some reason, but just letting you know, you can guest post on my blog anytime.

    1. Hey! I closed the comments on that post to allow those who want to comment to do so at my post on Yeah Write 🙂

Oo..thank you for the offer 😀 I’m a little scared to…your poems are so good and deep…I don’t know if I could do it! hehehe.

(and somewhere my guides and angels are doing the face palm..lol)

      1. lol you don’t have to write a poem, it can be anything you want, and it can be anytime. Out of no where just say you want to guest post, if you want, and the floor’s yours. I have your post pulled up and I’m about to read it.

  3. Awww Thank you so much, and would you know it hehe as sisters often do, (Laughs out loud to herself….) I am just in edit mode of the very same award and compiling my list of Sisters too and guess what… You are among them too.. 🙂

I have been compiling my list for three days hehe, as although I have some very special connections to sisters such as yourself and others I so dislike awards in a way, as we are limited with rules etc and always feel so honoured and yet guilty at the same time if I add some and not others as I pass the awards on… Silly me I know…

So I have altered the rules slightly hehe… And those who come to visit I know will pic up the awards.. and Just hope I didnt leave any sisters out!

Many thanks again my sister blogger and I will be back shortly to catch up on the posts I missed xoxox Hugs Sue

      1. Thank you very much Sue! I accept it with gratitude and am thrilled that we connected :). It’s totally awesome kind of freaky that you were compiling your list as well! And don’t worry about the guilty thing…trust me when I say that at the time I think I’m over it…it comes along wagging it’s tail at me 😛
