It’s New Year’s today over at this side of the world!
First one the menu is the WordPress.com 2013 review of this blog.

I want to thank each and everyone of you who have taken your precious time to visit this blog, reading the posts and commenting on them. I want you to know that it has been greatly appreciated!
I’ve mentioned this before but want to again. I’m so glad that I decided to re-start this blogging experience, focusing on the things I am interested in and sharing my thoughts and those of others in this space. Because of this, I have met some really awesome and wonderful people and friends. I’m also thrilled to have had friends from my previous blog who faithfully followed this blog. So thank you, thank you, thank you!
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 13,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 5 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Secondly, I want to wish you ALL a wonderful and fantabulous New Year! I posted this on my Facebook page yesterday and would like to share it with you too!
As the year 2013 takes it’s final bow, allowing 2014 it’s time on stage, my wish for each of you is that you allow joy into your lives.
Joy, as I once heard, is such an all encompassing word – love, peace, abundance, freedom. Joy brings this image of dancing like little children, with pure abandonment in the rain or a field of flowers. Joy expands the heart…it makes one smile from the soul, it is this feeling of breaking free from all the limitations that we trap ourselves with, the chains that bind us to the ground…it allows us to soar…like the magnificent souls we are!
That is my wish…my wish for you and for me –
That like the Phoenix arising from the ashes – for without those ashes…there would be no Phoenix which soars into the brilliantly lit night sky, that like the Alchemist within each of us transmuting our base “metals” into the shinning golden light we are – each moment we chose love and joy over fear.
That we embrace and love ourselves, our beautiful, perfect, magnificent strong glorious selves, in all our perceived “imperfections” we are beautiful…because only when we learn to do so can we allow ourselves to be loved.
That we acknowledge we are all connected. Each of our life streams…weaving the most beautiful tapestry imaginable, perfect in it’s colours and patterns. That when we hurt one, we are hurting ourselves, when we love one, we love ourselves.
Most of all, I wish for you what I read from a really awesome book: That we live life fearlessly. That we remember when there is love, there is no room for fear and all that is born out of fear. That each day, each moment we have the free will to base our decisions and choices on either love or fear.
May 2014 be a start to living with Love and all that is born from Love
Finally an update of sorts:
I’ve done one of my disappearing acts…but this time it was just a mini break. I’m back blogging posts, reading and commenting on all those wonderful posts sitting in my Reader, replying comments made by you lovely people on this blog, replying emails and just generally being more “here” 🙂
Posts will be up on Wednesdays and Sundays as usual, and I’ve received a few blog awards from some friends which I will endeavour to post on in the coming weeks.
So yay!..? 😉
The world has “sides?” 🙂 HNY, Shree!

Thank you Mohamed for the comment 🙂 As I commented on Sue’s blog…I don’t feel too interconnected today 😉 And you know…honestly..I’m working on feeling this interconnectedness…not too hard, because these things take their time and it can’t be forced.
