Say I love you.

Quite some time ago, a friend of mine introduced me to this group called Body Without Organs (BWO). The name *does* sound a little off putting and one would wonder what sort of music a group called such would be a part of. Well…I was very pleasantly surprised πŸ™‚

Just two days ago, I came across a song from them and…I fell in love with it.

It’s a love song, of course. A love song to a love lost. A love song to a love not realised. More than that, it is also a love song to the Self, to the Heart, to God / Source.

Whenever I listen to the song (which has been on repeat) I imagine my heart singing her love song to my rational mind, while my rational mind sings his love song to her, while they dance in close embrace. Slowly and tentatively exploring each other, slowly falling in love πŸ™‚

Well, I would like to hope so! Ha!

There are points in our lives, you would surely agree with me when a song, a story, a poem, a piece of art resonates to the very core of us. It kindles the feeling of joy, excitement, peace…the feelings of Love. Well, at this point in my journey it is a song…and it makes me want to soar to the heavens and dance with the stars…dancing with my Self.

I would love to know what song has touched you this way, if you would like to share?

  1. Thanks for sharing that song with us. Happy it brings you joy. Lately the songs Home by Philip Phillips, Tea in the Sahara by the Police, Collide by Howie Day and A Whole New World ( Aladdin) do that for me.

    love ya,
    Linda

  2. The power of music is amazing, isn’t it? I prefer to listen when I can concentrate completely on the music, which (unfortunately) isn’t often. The times I enjoy most are when I’m driving 800 miles by myself on an almost-deserted highway. Then I can lose myself in the music, and even after 12 hours of straight driving, the road doesn’t seem long enough. πŸ™‚

Awesomeness is in the sharing of thoughts :)
