So, it’s officially the end of November Blog Posting Month and I feel that I’ve done so much better this year compared to the last two attempts at it.
The thing is, I didn’t blog every day. I missed about 4 days in total. Well, if we really want to get technical, this post is going out on the 1st of December…so, 5 days.
However, the awesome thing about it is that I did not drive myself crazy with stress or guilt. I didn’t berate myself for slacking, because I knew and acknowledged that I didn’t. I didn’t force myself to post just for the sake of posting.
And that my friends, is a huge leap of improvement for me.
I will admit that the post about something “not being right” could have been thought out better, structured better and just presented in a better, less confusing way. Yet, you know what? It shows you (and reminds me) of how I think of things. The information is there. The thoughts and feelings it evokes are there. All in a tangle and a muddle. But, it’s there. I’m still reading the book, and I’ll do a review of it once I’m done.
November as a whole has been a month of “learning”, I think.
Or maybe remembering is a better word.
I was reminded that sometimes, in fact most times, when you stop stressing about stuff, stuff comes to you.
I was reminded that it is absolutely fine to be okay with being tired. That taking a break is actually a good thing.
I was reminded that I do tend to get a little frazzled and scatty (words totally and shamelessly borrowed from a recent Miss Marple read), when valuing my own worth or being asked to make a decision, on the spot.
I am quite glad (and proud) to say that for once I informed them, I’d get back to them with a price list/quote!
I was shown that things do not have to be done all at once and doing things little at a time can be just as productive. This refers to our latest project of hiring someone to do a complete clean/de-clutter of a few areas in the house that has too many things.
I also am giving myself a pat on the back for not stressing out with visiting other blogger’s blogs religiously…everyday. I’ve realised that though I want to, I don’t have to do it when I can’t, or when I’m really tired and won’t enjoy reading what has been written, or comment a good comment.
Doing something just for the sake of doing it, isn’t really a smart or good thing to do. I don’t think. I don’t feel it is.
And that, is the end of that…for now at least.
Thank you to everyone who popped in, liked and commented on the blog posts.
Thank you to everyone who participated – full 30 days or not, we all managed, had fun and learned something about ourselves or someone else, or made new friends. That’s what counts in the end. So, you are all totally awesome!
So, we shall meet again next year, hopefully for another run at blogging a post each day in the crazy month of November 2018.
Ok, no..I mean, we shall meet again when I post my next post and when I go a visiting in a nice relaxed manner to your blogs.
