Many Mansions: The story of reincarnation

From the back cover :

“Many Mansions is Dr. Cerminara’s account of these healing – and an affirmation of the age-old  belief in reincarnation. She tells how Cayce saw past the barriers of space and time, how he penetrated the “previous” lives of his subjects, and performed fantastic cures and prophecies that made him the most remarkable clairvoyant in modern history.”

The Story of the Soul

BeautifulBlueLight Recently I (and Youtube and the iMovie program) nearly drove me up the wall while trying to work on something. Thankfully I figured a way to get it done by using a free audio upload site called yourlisten, and because I honestly did not like Youtube and iMovie making me want to pull my hair out, I fiddled with it some more wanting to show them that I *could* do it! – use the program to make a video and upload it on Youtube. I was determined to do it, even if it took me a gazillion hours . (On a side note, it sometimes amazes me at the things I tend to be persistent about and those things that I give up on)

So after experimenting further with iMovie and watching loads of helpful Youtube videos….I made my own! It’s a first attempt and probably not very smoothly done, but I’m still quite happy with it 😀

The book that stole my mind…

Before I begin let me warn you that I am totally in love with this book. I mean I L < O < V < E (ten exclamation marks) it. That’s how much I love this book. To me this is a treasure of knowledge and eye-opening words stringed together to make sentences and paragraphs which resonated so much with me and I really, REALLY  recommend this book…like REALLY!

Free will is actually…free.

Scott Adams of Dilbert fame has written a beautiful book on free will. How much of free will is free ? That is debatable question Shree!! Though certain choices we take may seem individualistic, but do you think it is so ? All our choices are interlinked and to put it more correctly we are like electrons who are impacted by the behavior of electrons of the neighboring atom/molecule. All our choices are interlinked and free will is free to a certain extent of our knowledge. I would love to know your thoughts on this. – Aarthi from timesinteresting

Is free will absolutely free? Don’t our choices impact others and if they do, does it mean that it’s not really free?

Got some tape? Measuring our choices

Aarthi from timesinteresting posted an interesting comment some time ago.

She said:” Yes, not making a choice is also a choice. Our intuitions guide us better. We shouldn’t take choice that we will not take if we have tell it to others, may be a good yardstick”

She hit upon something that has been “disturbing” me for quite some time now…well, two things..hmm..actually three things…

Karma it seems disagrees with you.

Do these seem familiar to you?

“Revenge is a waste of time and resources, Karma will do that much better than you can”

“Dear Karma, I have a list of people you missed”

“No need for revenge. Just sit back and wait. Those who hurt you will eventually screw up themselves and if you’re lucky God will let you watch”

And the classic : “Karma is a b*tch”

Making choices

Every day, every moment in our lives we make choices. We make choices on what we think, what we say and what we do. We make big choices and small choices, but each regardless of its “size” or “importance” has its consequences on ourselves, the path that we travel and those around us. The one thing I can say that we don’t really choose is our emotions, but what we do in response to those emotions is again a choice that we make. Continue reading “Making choices”
