I will be the first to admit that my knowledge of grammar is not polished. However, it does allow me to construct sentences that make sense…unless I get into “ramble mode”. That’s when, even I tend to cringe at how convoluted my sentences can get. I can’t help it…most times. That’s the way my mind works. It’s not only a monkey but a contortionistic one at that.

Have you ever…
Have you ever felt your normally over active brain just shut down?
Have you ever tried looking for ideas when it does?
Have you ever had that feeling coupled with sleepiness that keeps you yawning and yawning?
As if there was a sudden huge supply of yawns just waiting to be released?
Today, I cried
and cried. The whole works. Tears and snot.
Confessions of a “wallaby” writer
Only because “wallaby” is a lot cuter than saying “wannabe”.
It’s approaching that time again
On this side of the world, as I type this, there are another 19 days before November takes its place in our lives. November, the month when writers from all over the world go a little, shall we say, (creative) crazy?
When…
When it has been almost 3 months since you’ve written something, anything remotely creative.
When you want to put words to page (or screen, as in this case), but your mind is strangely blank but full of half baked ideas.
When you stare through the window, looking at the sky for some form of inspiration.
When for some reason you feel sleep almost dragging you with it, but you know you’ll be unable to sleep.
When you have all these plans but feel at this very moment, completely unable to form thoughts that have any direction.
When you type the letters, deleting them, re-typing them and then re-deleting them again.
Moving ahead…
Hellos!
So, for those of you who follow and/or visit the blog (not the same thing sometimes 😉 ), you may have noticed a little change. I took the leap and registered this site as a .com, so the web address is now anitashree.com . I did this about a week ago, I think. I’m not too sure, and I’m a little lazy to check my email to see exactly when I did..ha! Some things don’t change. I also registered another blog quite some time ago and named that mainlycoloursandmandalas .
Cleaning
Some of my friends keep telling me that all I seem to do is to either work or clean my room. I agree with the work bit, but you know, I really am not cleaning my room ALL the time. I do admit I can be messy and it really isn’t my fault that this room of mine tends to attract dust like a well..dust magnet.
Is she here to stay?
So, how does one start a blog post after disappearing from the face of the blogoshpere for so long…
Maybe a “Hello!” ? Or maybe a “Hi!”?
It’s been ages. More than a few ages I think. I don’t even know if those I called friends on here are still blogging or if they have left this space of sharing for good or even if they’ve taken some time off, like me.
Word Cloud Wednesday: A first attempt
I’ve been following wePoetsShowIt for a couple of weeks now and have wanted to participate in their Word Cloud Wednesdays. It’s basically a little fun challenge wherein a blog post (by anyone who volunteers their posts) is picked and the words used in the post are turned into a “word cloud”. The challenge is to use only the words in the word cloud (though one can cheat and not use ONLY those words) and create a poem or create a piece.
The 1st of January word cloud was from a post by one of my favourite bloggers…so you know, I had to try it! So, here is my attempt about 2 weeks late and hoping it will make sense 😉
A new venture

It’s going to be my very, very first guest blog post ever, thanks to Rara connecting me to Erica from Yeah Write.
